Wodan will be responsible for driving the company’s hire product range in key sectors, including focusing on <a href="https://loadbanks.com/loadbank-applications-datacentre-sector/">data centres</a>, <a href="https://loadbanks.com/loadbank-rental/">generator and turbine operators</a> and <a href="https://loadbanks.com/loadbank-applications-marine-shipbuilding-sector/">marine applications</a> across Europe.</p>
<p>Chris Caldwell, Managing Director at Crestchic, said: “Wodan has an incredible track record of sales success across a multitude of industrial sectors. I’m therefore delighted to welcome him to our team and know that this is yet another positive step forward for the company’s ambitious expansion strategies.”</p>
<p>Wodan’s appointment follows news about the 2000 square metre expansion of Crestchic’s factory in Burton on Trent, allowing the company to meet and exceed the increased demand from the market.</p>
<p>Wodan de Quick added: “It’s an exciting time to be working at Crestchic and I’m already feeling the incredible buzz surrounding the future of the company. I have held management positions within Aggreko and Atlas Copco, especially in operations, production, maintenance, service, rental business and QHSE. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Crestchic, the largest specialist loadbank manufacturer and supplier in the world, has recently completed its fifth cruise liner engine test at the Meyers shipyard in Turku, Finland; working alongside leading industry-established generator and turbine companies.</p>
<p>The work involved transportation and on-site management of a 20MVA loadtest operating at 11kV/60Hz utilising two 6MVA Resistive/Reactive and two 6MVA Resistive loadbanks. Completing the package, Crestchic also provided the associated multi-tap and fixed transformers, distribution equipment and over 100m of MV and LV cabling.</p>
<p>Simon Butler, Technical Support Manager at Crestchic, said: “We were contracted to test the turbines on the ‘Mien Shiff’, a TUI group luxury cruise liner, while it was at the Meyers shipyard in Finland.</p>
<p>“Our rental division worked tirelessly to ensure we met all customer deadlines, allowing us to boast a first-class service that we are very much renowned for across the marine and shipyards sectors.”</p>
<p>The UK rental team have successfully supplied loadbank packages to test all of the TUI group ships to-date on behalf of its industry partners.</p>
