Crestchic, the specialist manufacturer of load banks and power load testing equipment, was first founded in 1983. Following a period of sustained growth, the company was acquired by Northbridge PLC in 2006. In addition to Crestchic, the Northbridge portfolio included Tasman Oil Tools, which was sold in February 2022.

The Crestchic arm of the business has grown organically in response to this increased demand, with significant investment in both our people and our infrastructure  We are very excited about the future of the business – our ongoing investment and recent name change reflects that optimism.”

The change coincides with a wider strategic expansion programme for Crestchic, in the UK, US, Europe and beyond. The business has recently made a significant investment in the UK manufacturing facilities, increasing its capacity by 60%, as well as opening new premises in the US and Europe. Crestchic currently operates in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Benelux, UAE, Singapore, China, and Japan.
