Crestchic load banks has reached a significant cybersecurity milestone, having recently been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification – a UK government-backed, industry-supported certification for cybersecurity.
The certification demonstrates that the company’s policies and procedures are strong enough to protect against cyber threats. CE+ requires independent verification and testing by an external auditor.
The entire IT infrastructure at Crestchic was tested to ensure it met stringent technical security standards and to verify that the company is protected against various attack scenarios.. This included configuration and management of firewalls; secure configuration of all servers, laptops and desktop computers; user access control to ensure all user passwords are fully secure and systems are using multi-factor authentication; malware, virus and ransomware protection software and management of security updates for all operating systems and software.
Richard Coleman, IT and Systems Manager at Crestchic, commented: “This prestigious certificate serves as a testament to our continuous efforts in strengthening our cyber security measures and safeguarding valuable business and customer information. It demonstrates our dedication to staying ahead of emerging threats and maintaining a robust security posture. It also reflects the efforts and diligence of the entire team when it comes to adhering to security protocols, staying vigilant against potential risks, and actively participating in our ongoing security initiatives.”
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification is verified by the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) certification partner, IASME Consortium, adding an extra layer of credibility. Established in 2016, NCSC brings together expertise from CESG (the information assurance arm of GCHQ), the Centre for Cyber Assessment, CERT-UK, and the National Protective Security Authority – making the organisation an authority on cyber security.
By achieving the certification, and undergoing an intensive independent audit, Crestchic reinforces its position as a trusted and secure organisation in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. It also demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding our clients’ and partners’ sensitive data, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
