Liquid-cooled Loadbank
Precision thermal and electrical commissioning for Liquid-Cooled Data Centres
The 600kW Liquid Cooled Load Bank is purpose-built for high-density data centre commissioning. Designed to deliver accurate thermal validation and precision electrical testing of liquid-cooled infrastructure, it enables reliable, repeatable commissioning under real-world operating conditions
Engineered for demanding site environments, Crestchic’s liquid-cooled loadbank combines stable ΔT control, comprehensive system protection and advanced reporting.
Key Benefits
- Precision ΔT thermal control (±0.5°C):Maintains temperature stability to ±0.5°C regardless of flow variation, ensuring repeatable results and greater confidence during critical commissioning activities.
- Full system protection: Integrated safeguards protect both the load bank and connected infrastructure, including:
- Flow protection
- Pressure monitoring
- Overload and underload protection
- Thermal shock protection
- Built for fast deployment:
- Quick-release, no-drip dry disconnect couplings (main supply, drain, overpressure)
- Reduced downtime between jobs
- Improved on-site safety and efficiency
- Rugged design:
- Compact footprint with flush-mounted connections
- Heavy-duty castors
- Dual-side forklift pockets and single-point lift
- Stacking capability (with integrated crash pack)
- IP55 rated enclosure for demanding indoor and outdoor commissioning environments

Data centres, load testing, and power resilience in 2026
Backup power systems have long been essential for data centre operators striving to meet uptime targets. As demand for AI grows, grid infrastructure ages, and outages become more likely, the reliability of backup systems is increasingly seen as a strategic priority...
WHY USE A LOAD BANK?
Load banks are primarily used for testing electrical power output on diesel generators, gas turbines and UPS systems whilst carrying out commissioning and maintenance work.
The load banks are used for simulating real electrical loads enabling essential setup and commissioning which ensures that all electrical and control parameters are met prior to power generation/back up equipment being energized on line.
