The new loadbank service team

This spring sees the official launch of a new, all-encompassing service department at leading loadbank manufacturer, Crestchic.
Significant investment has been made into the new facility which will bring all aspects of the company’s after-sales service under one roof, including maintenance contracts, equipment repair, spare parts, training and commissioning.
The new and improved business unit will be situated at Crestchic’s rental site on Third Avenue in Burton-on-Trent, opposite the manufacturing plant. From this location, Crestchic’s global customer base will be presented with a professional and dynamic after-sales service.
As part of the offering, enhanced training will be offered for loadbank maintenance and operation either on-site or at customers’ own premises.
The Crestchic team will also continue to grow with the enrolment of two new engineers following a number of other key appointments across the business. Ian Casson, a Senior Loadbank Engineer from Crestchic Rental, will manage the existing experienced service team. Ian has ten years’ experience in the field and will work with the team to find appropriate solutions to customer requirements after point of purchase.
Customers will be able to choose from one off service visits through to annual, two, three or five year maintenance contracts and equipment repair will be significantly improved through the implementation of a management operating system which will track repairs and keep customers updated on progress.
As the equipment manufacturer, Crestchic already has high stock availability of parts meaning the pricing and despatch system will also be streamlined and recorded.
Chris Caldwell, European Rental Director will oversee the service department team at Crestchic. He said: “The new service department is an important move for Crestchic and strengthens our service offering to customers. Ian and the team are well equipped to offer an after-sales service that is second to none in the power testing industry.”
